The sound of running water has an entirely natural calming effect. Sitting beside a waterfall is a perfect way of helping ease your mind and calm your spirit. Unfortunately, most of us do not have the time to simply leave our jobs and hike through the forest, sit on rocks and bathe in fresh spring water. If you can’t get to a waterfall, maybe you can get a waterfall to you.
An indoor waterfall can completely transform an environment, whether it’s a dull office that needs some spice added or your living room, a waterfall can work wonders. There are a variety of indoor waterfall designs and extras that will help make your indoor waterfall look fabulous. From highly sophisticated to rustic looking, there are waterfall designs that will perfectly suit any space.
Some waterfalls do not have ponds; instead, the water runs down and is sent back up on the back side or through the inner parts of the frame. One style hangs on the wall; one of these is a metal framed mirror with water running down the front. Another style stands directly on the floor. There are many alternatives within these styles; the water running straight down, cascading over a panel, or going back and forth producing several mini waterfalls, among others. There are also small desk waterfall ponds, in several different styles.
Indoor waterfall designs are made in several different styles; wood, bamboo, stone, stainless steel, glass, etc. They are ready for use, simply need to be put in place, filled with water, plugged in and turned on. Most indoor waterfalls have anti fungus and bacteria mechanisms in place to insure there is no health risk. They are designed to keep the water in the waterfall, so there is no need to worry about splashes and wet spots. Many indoor waterfalls are also highly energy efficient, keeping additional electricity costs at a minimum.
